Indian Adventure

Greetings,

Around this time last year, I was running around Africa doing some soul searching and figuring out "what I want to do when I grow up". When I came back, fortune had it to find the job of my dreams with Cadbury in innovation & strategy and had a great run in 2007. Now I have the opportunity to trek around India and will be asking the same question again as I am now off on a new adventure.

This trip to India has been in the making for over five years... Although I always thought it would be trekking the mountains and monasteries of altitude in the North, my trip this time to the South will be strolling through hillside tea estates and relaxing in the Keralan backwaters.

In preparation for leaving the NYC urban jungle and transitioning to another....medical shots - check, hiking supplies - check, backpack - check. Still to be resolved are travel arrangements to Newark airport from Port Chester, NY. I seem to have more concern navigating Penn Station at rush hour with my packs than finding my way around Mumbai at 11pm with no commend of the foreign language. The adventure begins!
